You have shown us how to share win 7 files to Xp ... but still no one tells us how to do opposite,,,, share files from Xp to Win 7 ... thats an issue we got to solve soon,,,, we all have home networks... what can we do ? i run win7 rc1 and Xp pro sp3 ....

sometimes just running the Network setup Wizard" on the XP computer can fix file sharing issues. That step is easily forgotten... I've done it myself! I had a small issue with my XP laptop and after thinking to hard and making it more complicated then needed.... I realized that I forgot to run the Network Setup Wizard and now all files and a network drive are fully accessible.

There is no issue to solve. You share files from XP the same as you normally would regardless of the OS on the other computer. Also, you ARE NOT running RC as it has not been released. Regardless of the build number or what you may have heard, the RC is not yet available.
